The kitchen display system streamlines the work in your kitchen. Prepare dishes in the right order, and do not forget a single special request or ingredient modification with our kitchen monitors, where your guests’ orders appear live directly from the POS. Automatic kitchen printing allows you to choose whether you want to print special requests or display them on the kitchen monitor next to the corresponding dish or order.
How do you want orders to be delivered to your kitchen? With LS Nav Hospitality you can do it manually or with an automated system.
LS Nav Hospitality has a specifically designed system to ensure that orders are sent to the correct display stations according to setup data.
The setup is very flexible; it can be managed in the back office system, and restaurants can have a different number of display stations, depending on their needs.
The system allows for two-way communication. Data can be sent from the POS to display stations, and then the kitchen can update dishes preparation status , making it visible at the POS. This way the waiter can monitor how close to ready the dishes for his tables are.
Display stations can be of two types, pickup (expeditor) and preparation station (line display).
Orders that need to be prepared in the kitchen or bar stations can be sent by waiters to kitchen displays, to kitchen printers or to a combination of both.
Kitchen printers print the orders in the sequence they arrive, including all relevant information. It is possible to have as many printer stations as needed and to print orders either on OPOS or Windows printers.
Orders to the kitchen can consists of many items that have different production times. The production time for each item can be centrally set up and maintained in the back office system.
When the order is sent to the kitchen, the system automatically displays the items on the display station according to the production time, following the rule that all items for the order should be ready at the same time.
