Join LS Retail for a two-day workshop about Replication, Webservices and Data Director. We welcome all partners to these two days of presentations and discussions. Partners have the chance to increase their knowledge regarding replication and web services features available and data director functioning and setup.

Participants will do various exercises to:
- Install and set up Data Director service.
- Setup and create Scheduler jobs with different replication methods.
- Practice and understand data replication.
- Learn about replication process and how it can be set up either using web replication or traditional replication.
- Get a better understanding of how to set up the web services and their functioning.
- Understand Distribution setup settings and its relation creating pre-actions and actions.
- Learn how to setup and configure the powerful Data Director Web Monitor on their demo environments
During the training, the participants will learn about different setups, online and offline architectures, replication processes and how the replication works in different scenarios.
At the end of this training, participants should be able to set up, deploy and maintain the replication and web services features in LS Central.
Prerequisite:
Good basic knowledge of Business Central. Basic TCP/IP and LS Central understanding is helpful. (CF-300 Training)

Requirements:
- It is not necessary to download the virtual machine from the partners portal, two virtual machines, specifically designed for the workshop, will be provided.
- Hyper V must be installed and configured on their laptops.
- A minimum of 16 GB of RAM memory on their laptops is necessary, 32 GB RAM would be optimal.
- Latest version of LS Retail Data Director.
- Current/updated license with LS Retail objects.
- All participants should have a basic proficiency in MS Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- All participants should be local administrators on the machines they bring.
- Access to a wireless network and internet will be available.
