Our background
Built on solid foundations
We have been developing business software for over 40 years. We started in Northern Europe and quickly expanded first in Europe, and then across the globe. Our success lies on the flexibility of our solutions, which can be adapted to different geographies and requirements, and our strong global partner network.
In June 2026, we acquired K3 Global Accounts and K3 Unisoft, expanding our reach into global enterprise retail. K3 Global Accounts, based in the Netherlands and Singapore, provides business-critical software and services to IKEA retailers in 32+ countries. K3 Unisoft, based in the Netherlands, serves small and mid-sized retailers across the Benelux. Both are now part of the LS Retail Group.

Magnus Norddahl
Chief Executive Officer
Magnus has over three decades of management expertise in software development, IT, and the pharmaceutical industries, most recently as CEO of Annata, Chairman of the Board at AGR Dynamics, and as industrial adviser on AI transformation.
Magnus returned to LS Retail as CEO in 2026. During his previous tenure as CEO of the company, from 2010 to 2021, he was instrumental in scaling the business globally.He has also sat on the boards of various companies such as Men & Mice, Artasan, and Advania in Sweden.

Dadi Karason
CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Dadi joined LS Retail as a developer in 1998. He took on the role of Product Development Manager in 2001 and was appointed Director of Development in 2007. He has served as Chief Technology Officer since 2014. Dadi holds a Cand. Science degree in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering, a B.Sc. in Computer Science and studied for an M.Sc. in Financial Engineering at the University of Iceland.
Hlynur Elisson
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Hlynur joined LS Retail in January 2019. He has 25 years of experience in finance. Prior to joining LS Retail he directed the finance operations at Icelandair for 14 years. Before that, he was the finance director for Air Iceland (Flugfelag Islands) and held a managerial position at IKEA. Hlynur holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Rockford University.
Bergthora H. Olafsdottir
CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICERBergthora joined LS Retail in 2016, bringing extensive experience in human resources and management. Before LS Retail, she served as Head of Human Resources at Novomatic Lottery Solutions and held various managerial roles at Siminn (Telecom) and Samskip (Transport and Logistics). She holds an M.Sc. in Human Resource Management from Stirling University, as well as a B.Sc. in International Marketing and a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Reykjavik University.
Steve Rowley
Chairman of the board
Steve Rowley brings broad experience across the software industry. He has served as CEO of both public and private companies and has chaired several software businesses, including MetaPack, Dext and CoreHR. In addition to chairing LS Retail, he is currently chair of Forterro and Craftview. Steve has lived and worked in the UK, Germany and the USA.
Christoffer Müller
Board MemberChristoffer brings 17 years of private equity experience across strategy, M&A, financing and governance. As a Partner at Axcel, he has led investments in Frontmatec, Mountain Top Industries, Cimbria, EG, Silkeborg Data, Conscia and Lessor.
He is currently deputy chair of Geomatikk Group, Elcor, init and BullWall, and sits on the boards of Emagine and Movement Software. Christoffer holds an MSc in Economics, Investment and Finance from the University of Copenhagen and studied Economics at the London School of Economics.
