
We are proud to share that LS Retail has been recognized as a Model Firm for 2025 by VR, the Commercial Union of Iceland. The results are based on a nationwide survey that collects employee feedback across several categories.
The factors considered in the survey include:
- Management: How effectively is the company managed, and do employees have confidence in their leaders?
- Work morale: Do employees feel at ease in the workplace and work well with one another?
- Salary: Are team members content with their pay and benefits?
- Work environment: Do staff have access to the tools and support they need to do their jobs well?
- Flexibility at work: Does the organization support flexible arrangements that help employees balance professional and personal responsibilities?
- Independence at work: Are expectations clearly communicated, and do employees feel trusted to make decisions and take ownership of their work?
- Company image: Do employees hold a positive view of the company?
- Job fulfillment: Are employees generally satisfied in their roles?
- Equal opportunity: Are all individuals given equal opportunities, regardless of gender, age, background, orientation, or beliefs?
The top 15 companies with the highest overall scores in each size category (small, medium, large) receive the title of Model Firm. Out of 700 companies and 14,000 people that participated in this survey, LS Retail was recognized as a Model Firm in the large company category, ranking among the top 10 in Iceland.
