LS Retail Compass MEA and India 2019 kicks off with the launch of a new LS Pay EFT integration
LS Retail Compass is the yearly regional event for local LS Retail partners, customers, and prospects in the retail and hospitality industries.
This year’s edition of LS Retail Compass for the MEA and India region takes place on Tuesday, October 22, at the Sheraton Mall of the Emirates Hotel in Dubai, UAE. During the one-day event, attendees will learn about the latest trends in retail and hospitality and discover how LS Central, our unified commerce platform infused with intelligence, can help them tackle present and future challenges.

Launching LS Pay in the MEA region
The event marks the formal launch of EFT integrations for our payments solution LS Pay in the MEA region. LS Pay ensures secure, EMV and PCI-compliant transactions through your LS Retail management system. This includes sales across all channels and on all types of terminals and devices, including stationary, mobile and web POS (Point of Sale).
Our first agreement in the region is an integration between LS Pay and Network International, one of the leading Payment Service Providers (PSP) in the Gulf region and Africa.
“Because of legislative requirements, integrated payments have been unavailable in this region until recently. Now the policies have changed. This means local business can finally take advantage of the full capabilities of the LS Retail standard solution, including our out-of-the-box EFT integration,” says Waddah Laham, Vice President MEA and India at LS Retail.
Introducing a new integration with Shopify Plus
At LS Retail Compass MEA, attendees will also be introduced to a new integration between our unified commerce platform LS Central and enterprise e-commerce platform Shopify Plus.
“We are glad to announce the availability of this third-party integration, which was developed in response to massive demand in the market,” says Waddah Laham.
The integration was developed by our partner company VL OMNI, and it is available worldwide.
