Knowsley Hall, one of England's most historic private estates, has implemented LS Central for hotels to unify luxury event management, on-site accommodation, and financial reporting on a single platform. The project was delivered by certified LS Retail partner Navtech Group.
Knowsley Hall is a Grade II 600-year-old stately home set within a 2,500-acre private estate in Merseyside, England. The estate hosts luxury weddings for up to 130 guests, on-site accommodation, and a diverse range of commercial events — from film productions and shooting parties to corporate open days and agency gatherings.
Managing this kind of complex hospitality operation had long required significant manual effort. Departments lacked real-time communication, making it difficult to track costs and assess the true profitability of individual events. The estate needed a platform that could bring every aspect of the business together and provide a clearer view of performance.
LS Central for hotels runs natively on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or integrated to other leading ERPs, and delivers a unified foundation for sales, inventory, rooms, bookings, events, loyalty, financials, and more. With its modular design, hospitality operators can implement the capabilities they need today and expand as their business evolves. Over 110,000+ retail stores, restaurants, hotels, entertainment venues, spas, wellness centers, and more are powered by LS Retail software.
With LS Central, Knowsley Hall has gained a single source of truth for all their data. Supported by the Bookings for LS Central add-on, one of several modules that extend LS Central's core capabilities without the need for complex integrations, the platform handles the full range of the estate's commercial activity. This includes themed ticketed events with guest-specific seating arrangements and allergy tracking, tailored setups for film productions and shooting parties, and dedicated workflows for open days and agency visits. The sales funnel from inquiry to signed contract is now entirely digital, with all client communications and documents saved automatically to each reservation. High-value assets are tracked in real time too: every bar sale posts through POS devices and updates wine cellar inventory automatically.
For the first time, management also has a 360-degree view of the estate's financial performance: revenue by line across accommodation, food, and venue hire, maintenance and repair costs per building, and the exact ROI of every event and project.
"Our goal was choosing a solution that could handle our booking processes and collect the data from all the sources we use so that everything will be synced," says Michael Hamilton, Interim General Manager, Knowsley Hall. "LS Central gives us the opportunity to unify every branch of our estate management into a single platform. By consolidating our data, we have moved from fragmented manual processes to a streamlined system where our calendars, client communications, and financial performance are always in perfect sync. Navtech Group was the right partner for us as their team paid attention to our needs and worked closely with us to ensure operational excellence and smooth integration."
"Working with Knowsley Hall has been a truly unique collaboration," says Dimitar Iliev, General Manager, Navtech Group. "Managing a prestigious estate requires a specialized system that eliminates fragmented operations without losing its historic character — and that is exactly what we aimed to build. By implementing LS Central and the Bookings module, we replaced manual tasks with a single, unified platform. We focused deeply on their specific needs to ensure bookings, guest communications, and financials sync perfectly in real time. We are proud to deliver a solution that brings precision to their operations and lets their team focus on what they do best: delivering world-class hospitality and one-of-a-kind weddings and events."
"Knowsley Hall is a compelling example of what unified hospitality software can do for venues that operate well beyond the boundaries of a traditional hotel," says Carsten Wulff, Regional Vice President Europe at LS Retail. "Managing a historic estate means juggling accommodation, events, fine dining, and complex partner relationships — all with the precision that a property of this caliber demands. We are proud to support this transformation and to see LS Central give the Knowsley Hall team the visibility and control to run their business with confidence while staying true to the exceptional experience they offer their guests."
