We are introducing radical changes to the development of LS Omni with the goals of making the implementation of LS Omni simpler and giving our partners full control, enabling them to implement LS Omni independently. These changes will also allow our LS Omni team to invest more time and resources on internal development. This means we will be bringing you more innovative Omni products, faster.
Mobile Loyalty
As of Thursday October 20th 2016, the source code for the LS Omni loyalty app is available to partners on the partner portal. This means that partners can now make any changes they wish, without needing to go through LS Retail. Please note that, however, the API is still subject to licensing. The loyalty app will be available with the standard look and functionalities. Partners who need customizations can now either carry out the implementation independently of LS Retail or request these services from the LS Retail Consulting team, at standard rates. Mobile POS and Mobile Inventory
As of Thursday October 20th 2016, the LS Retail Mobile POS and Mobile Inventory apps are formally available for download in Google Play and on the LS Omni download site. Partners can download the apps with the standard look and feel. From now on customizations, including changes of logos and colors, can be provided by the LS Retail Consulting team, at standard rates. In the comings months, LS Retail experts will provide interested partners with detailed information and training on how to leverage the changes.
