Tengi, an Icelandic retailer specializing in sanitary and plumbing products, has become the first company to go live with LS Pay for Business Central. Operating across three locations and serving both private customers and trade clients, Tengi implemented LS Pay as part of its strategy to migrate to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in the cloud.

When Tengi decided to migrate to Business Central, the company identified that its existing payment solution was not compatible with a cloud environment. They sought a native payment solution designed to work directly with Business Central, and selected LS Pay to meet those needs.

Built on the solid and trusted LS Pay foundation for LS Central, LS Pay for Business Central brings the same proven payment capabilities to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP. The Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) software solution connects directly to Business Central and supports EMV and PCI compliance through 40+ PSPs across 50+ countries. The solution enables companies to sell easily using sales orders and sales invoices from the back office without requiring Point of Sale (POS) devices or a retail system.

As the first company to adopt LS Pay for Business Central, Tengi was navigating new ground. With support from local LS Retail partner Advania, the solution was implemented successfully and now runs reliably across all three locations.

The most immediate operational improvement for Tengi was the ability to process refunds to debit cards, something that had not been possible before. Payments flow directly into Business Central, reducing manual work and the risk of errors for staff handling daily transactions. The ability to send payment links to customers also supports how Tengi handles remote and B2B transactions.

For a business where checkout reliability directly affects customer trust, the stability that LS Pay for Business Central delivers is perhaps the most significant outcome of all. Tengi is now exploring opportunities to strengthen its eCommerce offering and expand its B2B activities, with a scalable and reliable foundation for future growth.

“The go-live of LS Pay for Business Central has strengthened our financial operations by bringing payment processing directly into Business Central,” says Svanþór Laxdal, Financial Manager at Tengi. “It has reduced complexity in our payment workflows and provided greater consistency across our locations.”

“The go-live with Tengi on LS Pay for Business Central was a successful outcome of close teamwork,” says Sigurður Unnar Hauksson, Customer Success Manager at Advania. “As the first company to deploy the solution, Tengi played an important role in helping establish a strong foundation for future implementations. The project demonstrated how effectively the solution can be introduced within existing Business Central environments when delivered with the right approach. We look forward to supporting more organizations on similar journeys.”

“We are pleased to see Tengi successfully go live with LS Pay for Business Central,” says Petur Sigurdsson, Product Director of LS Pay. “This implementation demonstrates how effectively the solution supports businesses that need to process payments within Business Central without requiring a full point-of-sale system. It enables a simple, reliable way to manage payments directly in the ERP environment.”
