LS Retail has once again been recognized as a Representative Vendor by Gartner in the 2026 Market Guide for Digital-Business-Ready POS Platforms for Tier 1 Quick-Service Restaurants. LS Retail was first named a Representative Vendor in the 2024 Gartner Market Guide for Digital-Business-Ready POS Applications for Tier 1 Quick Service Restaurants, published in October 2024.
Gartner defines Tier 1 point of sale (POS) applications for quick service restaurants as “software solutions that assist QSR operators in processing end-to-end customer transactions efficiently.” Not only must these solutions support digital transformation, but they must also centralize “key restaurant management activities, including labor management, digital loyalty, kitchen production, menu management and off-premises delivery, as well as other functions that allow customers and associates to interact with the brand across a QSR retailer’s ecosystem.” The report specifically recognizes LS Central for restaurants.
“It has been a period of significant growth for LS Retail, and we are increasingly being approached by enterprise businesses needing technology that can match the scale of their ambitions," says Kristjan Johannsson, CEO of LS Retail. "Being named in the Gartner Market Guide for Digital-Business-Ready POS Platforms for Tier 1 Quick-Service Restaurants for the second time is a reflection of that. Digitally ambitious QSR operators deserve software that keeps pace with where they are going, and that is what we are here to deliver.”
LS Central for restaurants is the modular POS and operations platform by LS Retail. By bringing sales, inventory, customer loyalty, kitchen management, self-service, reporting, and much more into a single database, it delivers centralized, real-time data across the enterprise while giving businesses the flexibility to grow their operations as needs evolve. LS Retail software powers thousands of QSRs, cafes, bakeries, full-service restaurants, bars, and more across 157 countries.
