Creditinfo has awarded LS Retail for showing the highest financial improvement between years.
Creditinfo, a leading service provider for credit information and risk management solutions, compiles an annual index of the strongest and most financially stable Icelandic companies. Among ‘Iceland’s Strongest Companies’, LS Retail has shown the biggest improvement between years, gaining over 350 places in the list between 2014 and 2015. For this reason, LS Retail is being awarded “High jumper of the year” by Creditinfo. “The last five years have been amazing. We have seen our income increase sevenfold, in line with the ambitious targets we had set for ourselves”, says Magnus Norddahl, CEO at LS Retail. “Our focus on sales, marketing and development has proved successful, to the extent that we have had to increase our staff, bring in new partners and generally think bigger than ever before.” In the picture above, Gardar Gylfason Malmquist, Chief Financial Officer, Eloise Freygang, Chief Marketing Officer, and Elsa Heimisdottir, Chief Human Resource Officer, have accepted the award for the company’s exceptional performance from the Icelandic minister of finance, Bjarni Benediktsson.
