The restaurant business can be hectic. A good hospitality system must simplify the waiter’s job, assisting him as much as possible with his transactions.
With our table status feature, waiters can quickly view the status of table in their sector, checking if tables are free, if guests have been served, if the orders have been promptly sent to the kitchen and so on. The system even displays number of minutes for some of the statuses, so waiters can check how long it has been since a table was last attended.
The system can also display alerts for tables, for example alerting staff if a seated table has not yet been taken care of.
In LS Nav Hospitality managers can centrally set up qualifiers for items. For instance, dishes can be marked into groups and qualified as starters, main courses, desserts, drinks etc.
The POS clearly shows which group an item belongs to. The system allows for flexibility so waiters can overwrite settings if needed, for example marking a starter as a main course.
This feature gives the waiter a better overview of the order and allows him to send orders from specific groups to the kitchen – for example only starters, or starters at the same time as main courses and so on.
We are now able to track inventory movements that are linked to the POS, perform just-in-time ordering with the meal planning module, reduce waste through inventory forecasting, and handle advance order reservations and payments for delivery and pickup transactions.
