Terms and conditions for LS Compass Europe

1. General

The following Terms & Conditions apply to the registration and participation of LS Retail Compass Europe 2022 (“Event”). Submission of a registration is regarded as affirmation of your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

2. Payment Terms

Participant will be charged Participation Fee in the amount of € 249, excluding VAT, which shall be made online via credit card payment

3. Cancellations

Cancellations shall be sent in writing to events@lsretail.com and shall be subject to confirmation by LS Retail.

• Cancellations made before 16th September 2022, will receive a 100% refund of pre-paid conference registration fees.
• Cancellations made between 16th – 30th September 2022, will receive a 50% refund of pre-paid conference registration fees.
• No refund of conference registration fees will be available for cancellations made from 1st October 2022.
• No refund will be made for nonappearance.

4. Changes to the event

LS Retail reserves the right to cancel, alter the format, content, venue and/or timing of the Event. All registered participants shall be notified of such changes prior to the Event.

5. Responsibilities

It is the sole responsibility of the registered participant to ensure that they are properly insured, which should include Personal Accident and Travel insurance prior to attending the Event. The registered participant is also responsible for ensuring that they have all necessary up to date travel documentation, including but not limited to visas and other entry permits and that they comply with all health formalities and any applicable laws in the jurisdiction where the Event is being held.

6. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LS Retail will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages (including but not limited to, damages based upon lost profits, business interruption, lost business, or lost savings) for any acts or failure to act under these Terms & Conditions. The registered participant shall be liable for any damage caused by the participant to the venue and agrees to indemnify LS Retail against and hold harmless from any claims arising from willful or negligent acts of the participant, its agents or employees.
