LS Retail E-learning – Save time and cost

We are happy to tell you that the first two sections in LS Retail E-learning are ready. Some of you have already started using the first section, the Price Management in NAV and we have had positive feedback already from many of you.

We have also received some very good comments from some of you that we will use to advance our work and make it better. The second section that is ready is for the POS Users in LS Retail NAV.

We have already started creating the next section in NAV which is about Data Distribution; the Scheduler and the Data Director. The plan is to open this section before the end of Q2. This process can get rather complicated in action and therefore it is very convenient to have some training available in the form of interactive exercises and tests to turn to whenever the need arises. The tests are only intended for the user to determine whether he should move onward or go through the lesson one more time. In the near future we aim to offer certification tests also.

The advantages of e-learning are that this method offers a self-paced learning process where the user can proceed through a course or a program until the information is fully comprehended. You will convert information to knowledge on your own timetable. You can go over the same lecture as often as needed and skip sessions you do not need. So you can control your learning process completely.

“LS Retail's E-learning is a good start for customers and partners.  The tutorials look and feel like Microsoft's E-learning tutorials, have good visuals, and are easy to use.  Whether you are new to LS Retail or have some experience with the product, LS Retail's E-learning is worth a look.” - Thomas Nielsen, AVF Consulting, www.avfconsulting.com.

E-learning saves time. For example there is no time spent on travelling to and from courses, and you can learn at you own speed, exactly what you need and when you need it. Opting for e-training also means that courses can be pared into shorter sessions and spread out over several days or weeks so that you can easily learn in-between working on other things. You will probably spend less time on customer support because customers will be able to learn most of what they need through e-learning. You can even use e-learning to show to your prospects.

“Our first experience with the E-Learning tool of LS Retail is very promising. Not only are the installation process and the menu structure very clear, but we appreciate certainly the details on: What will you learn-: what is the purpose and the details about the functionality; and Exercises. This tool delivers certainly an added value to the existing on-line help and manuals.”  - Danny Beeckmans, The Concept Group, http://www.theconceptgroup.be
