In cooperation with Microsoft Japan, Pacific Business Consulting and Tectura Japan will present LS Retail at RETAILTECH JAPAN 2008, March 4-7, 2008 at Tokyo International Exhibition Center ‘TOKYO BIG SIGHT’. Like EuroShop in Germany, Retail Tech is not just about Information Technology for retailers; it also involves the use of LED in Retail, the design and construction of stores, security and card technology. This is probably why this show has grown year by year. In 2008, 150.000 visitors from all over Asia are expected.
Tectura Japan will be officially releasing the Japanese version of LS Retail AX and LS POS .NET. Pacific Business Consulting will present LS Retail NAV in a standard version as well as a specialized version for fashion, marketed under the name NAV-Fashion. Both companies will co-exhibit with Microsoft in the booth RT 1105. ‘It is 10 months since we started discussions with Microsoft about making an official release of LS Retail AX. Tectura has done a great job with this localization. The Japanese version of LS Retail AX will be one of the first add-on solutions on the AX platform in Japan,’ says Qiping Sun LS Retail Partner Manager Asia Pacific. This presents new opportunities for AX partners in Japan to position Microsoft Dynamics AX as one of the few international ERP solutions for Retailers in Japan. LS Retail AX is not really the first Microsoft Dynamics based retail solution in Japan. Last year we released LS Retail NAV with PBC in Japan, but since Microsoft Dynamics NAV has not yet been released as an official product for Japan it is only available for PBC and Tectura. PBC has decided to focus on the growing fashion retail market in Japan. Under the concept NAV-Fashion, PBC has sold LS Retail to the French fashion chains of APC and Petit Bateau.
