LS Retail customer number 1000 reached in October We had aggressive plans for 2007 and are extremely pleased with the results. This has been the best year ever for LS Retail NAV with over 150 new customers selecting the solution to run their retail operations. In addition, our new offerings on LS Retail AX and LS POS .NET have really taken off in 2007. Currently over 10 new partners are in the process of being certified for these solutions and a healthy prospect base is building up. We are also proud to announce that in October we reached customer number 1.000 and that we now have LS Retail solutions running in more than 17.000 stores and on more than 40.000 POS terminals. 450 people attended LS Retail Partner Events in 2007 In March, Microsoft Portugal was the host for the annual LS Retail Conference. More than 120 people representing partners, Microsoft and LS Retail took part in the Conference which was a huge success. We also had excellent participation in the Retail Ready conference in conjunction with MS Convergence in Copenhagen in October, where about 120 customers and partners joined us for the 1 day conference in Moltkes Palæ. Our consultants have also carried out an unprecedented number of technical training programs this year: 30 training sessions with a total of about 200 participants. LS Retail now owned by retail entrepreneur Baugur Group At Retail Ready we also said goodbye to Ingvar Kristinsson, our manager for the last 5 years. Ingvar was replaced by one of the founders of Landsteinar International, Adalsteinn Valdimarsson. Adalsteinn took over in October after Baugur Group bought the Development and Partner Management part of Landsteinar Strengur and formed LS Retail. With the new ownership, LS Retail now focuses 100% on developing and distributing retail solutions. 250 new customers in 2008 We are now in the process of completing our business planning for 2008 – and yet again we have very ambitious goals. Together with our partners we will strive to get over 200 new LS Retail NAV and 40 LS Retail AX customers. This means that our partners should conduct retail projects of a total value of around 80 m €. To achieve this, we must expand our channel, especially in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, USA, Canada and Latin America. But the majority of the growth will come from our existing channel and we are planning a number of initiatives for 2008 to further support our channel in meeting these goals. Large investment in marketing and partner management We plan to continue our active investment in tradeshows, marketing events, advertizing and partner activities in 2008. We will be exhibiting at NRF in New York, Retail Conference in Stockholm and EuroShop in Düsseldorf. We will be present at the major Microsoft events, and we will join partners on their stands for example at Retail Asia in Singapore and Retail Solutions in UK.
