Baltika Group to use one system in all countries

Baltika Group is a rapidly growing fashion retailer in the Baltic States, Central and Eastern Europe. The Group operates over 130 stores in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Poland and owns four brands: Monton, Mosaic, Baltman and Ivo Nikkolo.

 
The Business Problem
 
As developing in the new markets Baltika Group faced the problem of centralization. There were different partners, different systems and standards in different countries. Company needed simple and flexible international system with full integration with the stack of other Microsoft technologies. Also a high priority was given to a reliable partner who can take all the responsibility for the system design, implementation and service.
 
So, Baltika Group needed to find one system and one partner to solve all these problems.
 
The Solution
 
LS Retail and Microsoft Dynamics NAV were chosen as a solution and New Vision as an IT partner to implement to build the prototype and make the implementation of retail systems in all Baltika markets
 
This integrated solution delivers the breadth and depth of functionality demanded by the busiest retailer without the need to build, manage and maintain multiple applications and interfaces. Its unique use of a single application to cover everything from the POS terminals, store systems, and all the functions can be expected to find at head office.
 
LS Retail NAV is built on Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform; therefore, the POS, back office and head office all use the same application. This makes it possible to track individual transactions from the POS to the General Ledger, which maximizes the business value. Because of the integration between LS Retail and Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Baltika Group employees need only to become familiar with one interface and the same logic applies to usage at all levels. 
 
By implementing this solution Baltika Group got the tool to organize and manage its activity with a single system in all countries (except Ukraine.) The solution became the main tool to manage daily jobs.
Centralized system helps to save the costs. The comprehensive retail chain management system is moving a lot of functions to head office. Those functions enables to save on the store personnel, since the task of store workers is to serve the customers, not to do administrative jobs.
 
In summary, the solution for Baltika Group shows unused opportunities and leads to revenue maximization.
