Landsteinar GCC signed a deal with Emirates Co-operative Society for the implementation of Microsoft Navision and Landsteinar Strengur Retail Solution.

Emirates Co-operative Society is one of the leading supermarket chains in the U.A.E. The society was established in U.A.E. in accordance with the Co-operative Society Law. The society commenced its commercial activities on 13th May 1995 in their Garhoud branch, and since then they have been growing. The principle activities of the society are retailing groceries and household items.

Emirates Coop recently signed an agreement with Landsteinar GCC for the implementation of Microsoft Navision and the Landsteinar Strengur Retail Solution. Emirates Coop has a total of 5 supermarkets spread over the Emirates. The solution will be rolled out in phases, covering back office operations with Microsoft Navision and the POS solution with LS Retail, with PDA functionality equipped RFID for local stock and warehouse automation in due course.
