Landsteinar Nederland BV has signed an agreement with Al-Futtaim Trading Company LLC in UAE to implement Navision and Landsteinar Retail in their IKEA operation in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The Al-Futtaim Group is one of the largest companies in the Middle East. Al-Futtaim represents many of the world’s leading brands like IKEA, Toyota, Lexus, Marks&Spencer en Toys 'R Us.

All together, the system will have about 200 users, 45 POS terminals and it will cover their complete operation including head office, stores and warehouses. The project has already started and the system will gradually be taken into production until September 2005 when the project will be completed.

During this project Al-Futtaim replaces their current SAP R/3 system with Microsoft Business Solutions - Navision and Landsteinar Retail.
