For some time now LS Retail has appealed to European retailers selling Mobile phones and Cosmetics. Hundreds of stores in Europe and Russia have implemented LS Retail to handle the entire management of their stores – from the Point of Sale/Service to inventory management and accounting.
This year Tectura has started to market LS Retail in new markets such as China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan as well as the existing markets of LS Retail in South East Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia).

In October, Tectura sold the first licenses of LS Retail in Hong Kong and China. Coty in China, a high-end cosmetics retailer and TechGlory, a Hong Kong based mobile phone dealer, were looking for an integrated front-end and back-end system and they were impressed with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and were elated to know LS Retail is fully integrated and a matured and proven POS solution for their business.
“We already have around 500 stores and 1500 POS using LS Retail in Asia. With the expansion into main markets like China and Japan, we expect to see this figure doubling by the end of 2007” says Carsten Wulff, Partner Manager, Landsteinar Strengur.
Coty and TechGlory are the first references in China using LS Retail and we expect the first implementation LS Retail in Japan to start in December. Beside the business potential of local retailers in Asia, we get many questions from LS Retail customers in Europe who want to expand into the booming Chinese market.
