Not many retailers can attract 15.000 to 60.000 visitors in a single day, let alone serve them all. IKEA is one of few or perhaps the only retailer that can pull this off. The opening of a new IKEA store in Athens, Greece earlier this year was a testimony to this. On the opening day the new IKEA store celebrated with 25.000 visitors, 7.930 sales transactions and 23.000 items sold in the restaurant and the Swedish food market. | |
